Start off by applying a base coat. I used Sally Hansen’s “Double Duty Base and Top Coat”.

Then, apply a white polish as a base color. I used Sally Hansen’s “White On”.

Next, using a large dotting tool and a gold metallic polish, paint the outline/background of the tree. To do this paint four dots at the bottom, four dots directly above those, three dots above those, two dots above those, and one dot above those. I used Essie’s “Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Low”.

Next, using a smaller dotting tool (a medium sized one), paint green and red dots inside the dots previously created, except for the top one. I used Apple Barrel’s “Christmas Green” acrylic paint and Kleancolor’s “Red Alert”. I alternated the colors of the dots, for example, the first row green, the second row red and so on.

Then, using the same white polish as your base color and the same dotting tool in the previous step, place a dot in the center of the single dot at the top of the tree.

Wait for all of that to dry and then apply a top coat. I used Sally Hansen’s “Advanced Hard as Nails Strengthening Top Coat”.
