Start off with a base coat. I used Sally Hansen’s “Double Duty Base and Top Coat”.

Apply a base color of your choice, different shades give different looks. I used Essie’s “After School Boy Blazer”.

You will want to cut up small jagged pieces of iridescent cellophane tissue. I got a roll of it from Michaels.

Coat all your nails in a clear nail polish (not a fast drying clear coat) and then place the shards randomly all over your nails using a welding tool.

Apply a generous amount of top coat over all your nails. I used Sally Hansen’s “Advanced Hard as Nails Strengthening Top Coat”.

Your shattered glass nails are finished!
