Start off with a base coat. I used Essie’s “Grow Stronger” base coat. Sorry for the weird marks on my nails, they were stained from my last manicure.

Apply a base color of your choice to all the nails. I used Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails”Hard Bitten”. I absolutely love this color!

Using a white nail polish/acrylic paint, paint a semicircle towards the bottom of the nail or where the lunula is. I used Apple Barrel’s “White” acrylic paint and Red Carpet’s “Detail Brush”.

Using a black color, outline the round part of the semicircle. I used the same detail brush and Apple Barrel’s “Black” acrylic paint.

With the same materials, paint small lines coming off of the black line that was just created.

With a dotting tool place a black dot in the center of the white area. I used a medium sized dotting tool but it will depend on your nail size and the size of the eye painted for what looks best.

Lastly, apply a top coat. I used Essie’s “Gel-Setter” top coat.
