Start off with a base coat, I used Essie’s “Grow Stronger” base coat.

Paint all your nails a light green color, I used one of Sally Girl’s mini nail polishes that I sadly don’t have the name for and I applied three coats.

With that same color and a striper brush, outline the grid. This is kind of hard to see in the picture. I used Winstonia’s “Long” brush.

Using a darker green, outline every other square. I used another Sally Girl min that I do not have the name for.

Then, fill in the outlined squares with the same darker green color. I used Winstonia’s “Fine Line” brush.

With a green-yellow nail polish and a striper brush, create thin lines going down each row and column. I used Butter London’s “Wellies”.

Ring Finger Nails:

Using a medium dotting tool and the same darker green polish, place two dots on the nail. You will need to make three clover leaves, one on each side and one above those, so leave enough space.

With the same tools, connect these two dots with lines towards the middle of the nail.

Create a small curved stem, I used the “Fine Line” brush again.

Lastly, apply a top coat. I used Essie’s “Gel-Setter” top coat.
