Start off with a base coat, I used Revlon’s “Quick Dry Base Coat.”

Apply a base color of your choice. I chose a color that reminded me of a pretty blue sky, I used Revlon’s Colorstay Gel Envy “Lovestruck.”

Then, create a half moon shape by the cuticle (lunula) area of the nail. I did this first by outlining the shape and then filling it in. I used Winstonia’s “Berry Wine” and Delta Ceramcoat’s “Pale Yellow” acrylic paint.

With the same tools, create small triangles coming off of this half circle. Again, I outlined the shape first and then filled it in.

Then, outline the round part of the half circle and the triangles. I used Apple Barrel’s “Yellow” acrylic paint.
