Start off with a base coat, I used Revlon’s “Quick Dry Base Coat.”

Apply a base color of your choice. I applied two coats of Jenna Hipp’s “Thin Mint.”

With another color of your choice, paint some imperfect triangles on the nails. I started off by painting a line where the top would be, then outlining the triangle and then filling it in. On each nail I painted two, one coming down from the top of the nail and one coming up from the bottom of the nail. The thumb was an exception, I painted four triangles, two coming out from the sides and one on the top and bottom. I used Winstonia’s “Fine Line” brush and Jenna Hipp’s “Creme de Cantaloupe.”

Paint an imperfect oval shape in the center and bottom of each of these triangles using a white color. I used Apple Barrel’s “White” acrylic paint and the same paint brush previously used.

Using a thin brush and a black color, outline the triangle shapes with small lines. I used Winstonia’s “Berry Wine” brush and Apple Barrel’s “Black” acrylic paint.

Outline the imperfect oval shapes using the same materials and technique.

Lastly, apply a top coat, I used Revlon’s “Extra Life No Chip Top Coat.”
