Start off with a base coat, I used Revlon’s “Quick Dry Base Coat.”

Apply a sheer light pink as the base color, I used Mayebelline’s Color Show “Born With It” and I applied two coats.

Paint the light pink color and a white color onto a makeup sponge and have them slightly overlapping. I used Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure “White Out.”

Then, sponge this onto all of the nails with the white part of the sponge towards the tip of the nail.

Repeat this step over all of the nails with a fresh makeup sponge, or you can cut off the top of the sponge used previously with a pair of scissors. This will make the design more opaque.

Apply a top coat to seal in the design and to help blend the colors. I used Revlon’s “Extra Life No Chip Top Coat.” Lastly, clean up around the nail using a Q-Tip dipped in nail polish remover and Born Pretty Store’s “Nail Polish Removal Pen” for the areas closer to the nail.
