Block Gradient Nails

image1.JPG

Start off with a base coat, I used Seche Clear’s “Crystal Clear Base Coat.”

IMG_3374.JPG

I applied some latex tape around my nails but this is optional, it just makes clean up later in the end. I used Pueen’s “Latex Tape.”

IMG_3376.JPG

With three colors of your choice, in a shade that goes from light to dark, apply thick stripes going vertically across the nail. It is easiest to use the nail polish brush with the latex tape since the lines don’t need to look perfect just yet. I used Sinful Color’s “Soul Mate”, “Pink Forever” and “Thimbleberry.”

Then, remove the latex tape. I used Tweezers to do this.

IMG_3385.JPG

With a striper brush and a metallic polish, paint stripes where the colors meet. I used Winstonia’s “Short” striper brush and Essie’s “Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Lo.”

IMG_3387.JPG

Lastly, apply a top coat, I used Seche Vite’s “Dry Fast Top Coat.”

Nike Nails

img_20170122_171437_222

Start off by applying a base coat, I used Seche Clear’s “Crystal Clear Base Coat.”

IMG_3353.JPG

Then, apply a base color of your choice, I used Sinful Colors’ “Snow me White.”

IMG_3355.JPG

I couldn’t really take multiple pictures of me creating the Nike symbol but it is basically a curved out check mark that gets thinner towards the tips. If that doesn’t make sense then please watch my tutorial! I used Winstonia’s “Berry Wine” brush and Apple Barrel’s “Black” acrylic paint.

img_3357

I only did the symbol on one nail as the accent nail so I then applied glitter that matched my color scheme to the rest of my nails. I used a welding tool to place the glitter and Emori’s “Thunder.”

img_3361

Apply a glossy top coat, I used Seche Vite’s “Dry Fast Top Coat.”

img_3361

Lastly, apply a matte top coat to get the perfect finish, I used OPI’s “Matte Top Coat.”

Marble Nails

IMG_20170115_214828_521.jpg

Start off by applying a base coat, I used Seche Clear’s “Crystal Clear Base Coat.”

IMG_3321.JPG

Then, apply a white polish as the base color. I used Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure in “White Out.”

IMG_3323.JPG

Dilute a light gray polish and apply rough squiggly lines throughout the nails with a thin detail brush. I used Winstonia’s “Berry Wine” brush and Ciate’s “Cream Soda.”

img_3325

With a diluted darker gray polish, highlight certain areas of the previously created light gray lines. I used Revlon’s ColorStay Gel Envy in “Well Suited.”

img_3327

Using the same light gray as before, place some on the empty spots on the nail below the darker gray lines and then dilute this and blend with nail polish remover to create a gradient effect.

img_3329

Add a small amount of black details using a very diluted black polish. I used Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in “Black Out.”

img_3331

You can go back in to add more lines and more gray gradient.

img_3332

Lastly, apply a top coat, I used Seche Vite’s “Dry Fast Top Coat.”

Winter Landscape Nails

img_20170108_161114_416

Start off by applying a base coat, I used Seche Clear’s “Crystal Clear Base Coat.”

IMG_3295.JPG

Apply a base color of your choice that will contrast the color of the trees. I used Ciate’s “Cream Soda.”

IMG_3297.JPG

Using the brush from a white nail polish paint an uneven french tip. I used Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure in “White Out.”

IMG_3299.JPG

With a dark green color and a detail brush, paint a Christmas tree by painting vertical lines directly above each other that get shorter towards the top. I mixed Apple Barrel’s “Black” and “Christmas Green” acrylic paint and I used Winstonia’s “Berry Wine” brush.

IMG_3301.JPG

To paint the bare trees, use the same detail brush and a dark brown or black color. Paint a vertical with squiggly lines coming out from it and more small lines coming from those squiggly lines. I used Apple Barrel’s “Black” acrylic paint.

IMG_3302.JPG

IMG_3303.JPG

Add snow to the trees by doing a dry brush technique with a detail brush and white color. Basically, wipe most of the paint off of the brush and then paint small dashes onto the tree. I used Apple Barrel’s “White” acrylic paint.

IMG_3305.JPG

To add falling snow, paint small, white, uneven dots surrounding the trees using the same materials.

IMG_3307.JPG

Lastly, apply a top coat, I used Seche Vite’s “Dry Fast Top Coat.”

Snowflake Nails

img_20170102_170343_383

Start off by applying a base coat, I used Seche Clear’s “Crystal Clear Base Coat.”

img_3274

Apply a base color of your choice, I used Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails in “Hard Bitten.”

IMG_3276.JPG

With a striper brush and a white color, paint an “X” on the nail to start the snowflake. Then, paint a line going through that X. I used Winstonia’s “Short” striper brush and Apple Barrel’s “White” acrylic paint.

IMG_3278.JPG

IMG_3279.JPG

Then add small dashes coming out from the sides of each of these lines.

IMG_3280.JPG

To fill up space I added partial snowflakes.

IMG_3281.JPG

Using a small dotting tool, place dots at the tip of each line on the snowflakes.

IMG_3283.JPG

To fill up more space, place dots in the empty spaces surrounding the snowflakes.

IMG_3285.JPG

Lastly, apply a top coat, I used Seche Vite’s “Dry Fast Top Coat.”
