Start off with a base coat, I used Seche Clear’s “Crystal Clear Base Coat.”

I applied some latex tape around my nails but this is optional, it just makes clean up later in the end. I used Pueen’s “Latex Tape.”

With three colors of your choice, in a shade that goes from light to dark, apply thick stripes going vertically across the nail. It is easiest to use the nail polish brush with the latex tape since the lines don’t need to look perfect just yet. I used Sinful Color’s “Soul Mate”, “Pink Forever” and “Thimbleberry.”

Then, remove the latex tape. I used Tweezers to do this.

With a striper brush and a metallic polish, paint stripes where the colors meet. I used Winstonia’s “Short” striper brush and Essie’s “Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Lo.”

Lastly, apply a top coat, I used Seche Vite’s “Dry Fast Top Coat.”
