Start off with a base coat, I used Seche Clear’s “Crystal Clear Base Coat.”

Then apply a base color of your choice, I chose a green to stick with the St. Patrick’s Day theme. I used Sally Girl’s “Doup-812044.”

With all of the colors of the rainbow and a thin detail brush, paint thin curved lines on the nail so that it looks like a rainbow is going across three of your nails. Try to make it look like it connects so have the next nail pick up where the last one left off. I used Winstonia’s “Berry Wine” brush and Apple Barrel’s “Bright Red”, “Pumpkin Orange”, “Yellow”, “Christmas Green”, “Cobalt Blue”, and “Concord Grape” (all acrylic paints).

At the end of one of the rainbows (see how the one on my pointer finger is shorter) create a black bowl like shape for the pot. I used the same detail brush and Apple Barrel’s “Black” acrylic paint.

With a gold color and a small dotting tool add some gold to this pot. I used DecoArt’s “Glorious Gold” acrylic paint.

On my thumb a pinky finger I created a leprechauns uniform. I first used Winstonia’s “Medium” striper brush to create a thick black line going across the nail horizontally and closer towards the tip of the nail.

I then used Winstonia’s “Short” striper brush to create an outline of a square in the center of this line.

Lastly, apply a top coat. I used Seche Vite’s “Dry Fast Top Coat.”

Your St. Patrick’s Day Nails are finished!
