Apple Nails

Hi everyone! This weeks tutorial is for Apple Nails! These can be used as some back to school nails or just some fruit nails. These are super easy, quick and simple! I hope you all enjoy!

IMG_20170910_195740_550

Start off with a base coat, I used Orly’s “Bonder Rubberized Base Coat.”

IMG_4731

With a red, green or yellow polish paint two curves on the nails and fill it in towards the tip of the nail. My red polish is an unknown brand and name but it is shaped like an apple! The green is Sally Girl’s “812165.”

With a brown color and welding tool or toothpick create a curved line for the stem where the two curves meet. I used Delta Ceramcoat’s “Spice Brown” acrylic paint.

IMG_4736

Then, with a medium green polish and the same tool used above, paint some leaves going the opposite direction of the stem. I used Craft Smart’s “Crisp Green.”

Lastly, apply a top coat. I used Orly’s “Polishield All-In-One Ultimate Top Coat.”

Crayon Nails

Hi everyone! Here are some Crayon Nails for back to school. I hope you all enjoy!

IMG_20170903_200022_698

Start off by applying a base coat. I used Orly’s “Bonder Rubberized Base Coat.”

IMG_4702.JPG

Apply different colored polishes for the base color on each nail. I used Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in “Fuchsia Power”, “Blue Me Away!”, and “Pep-Plum”, Maybelline’s “Fierce N Tangy” and Finger Paints’ “Tangerine Tint.”

IMG_4704

With a striper brush apply a thick black stripe towards the tip of the nail. I used Winstonia’s “Short” striper brush and Apple Barrel’s “Black” acrylic paint.

IMG_4706IMG_4707

Then, paint some curved line in the black stripes using the same color as the base. I used Winstonia’s “Fine Line” brush.

Pencil Nails

Hi everyone! This nail tutorial is for back to school with pencil nails! They are super simple and I hope you all enjoy!

IMG_20170903_195759_943

Start off by applying a base coat. I used Orly’s “Bonder Rubberized Base Coat.” (Sorry I forgot to take a picture of this).

Apply a yellow polish as the base color. I used Maybelline’s “Fierce N Tangy.”

IMG_4675

With a striper brush and an orange color paint a few stripes going vertically on the nails. I used Winstonia’s “Short” Striper brush and Craft Smart’s “Tangerine” acrylic paint.

IMG_4677IMG_4678

Then paint a thick stripe of pink polish towards the cuticle of the nail, you can just use the polish brush for this and it doesn’t need to be perfect. I used Orly’s “It’s Not You It’s Me.”

IMG_4680

Then paint a thick stripe of silver directly below the pink one. I used the same striper brush and Dazzling Metallics “Shimmering Silver” acrylic paint.

Lastly, apply a top coat. Orly’s “Polishield All-In-One Ultimate Top Coat.”

Eclipse Nails

Hi everyone! This tutorial is for eclipse nails, I had painted these the week of the eclipse but never managed to get this video up until now. The hardest part about these are the circles if you are a perfectionist like me. I hope you all enjoy!

IMG_20170903_173153_718

Start off by applying a base coat. I used Orly’s “Bonder Rubberized Base Coat.”

fullsizeoutput_7d6.jpeg

Apply a dark polish as the base color, I used Julep’s “Ilsa.”

fullsizeoutput_7d7

Then, apply large yellow dots on the center of all of the nails. I used a large dotting tool and Delta Cermacoat’s “Pale Yellow.”

fullsizeoutput_7d8

With the same dotting tool and your base color create the phases of the eclipse. The thumb and pinky should just be the sun. Place a dot on one side of the circle (opposite of the other nail) on the pointer and ring finger to create a half moon shape. Then the middle finger should be a full eclipse with a dark dot right in the center of the yellow dot.

fullsizeoutput_7d9

Lastly, apply a top coat. I used Orly’s “Polishield All-In-One Ultimate Top Coat.”

Pineapple Nails

Hi everyone! This tutorial is for some pineapple nails! They are pretty easy but look somewhat complex, I got tons of compliments on these! I hope you all enjoy!

IMG_20170903_172946_825

Start off by applying a base coat. I used Orly’s “Bonder Rubberized Base coat.”

IMG_4610

Paint all of the nails with a yellow polish. I used Maybelline’s “Fierce N Tangy.”

IMG_4612

With a striper brush and a darker yellow color, paint a quilted pattern on the nails. Do this by creating slanted lines going one direction and then slanted lines going the other direction. I used Winstonia’s “Short” striper brush and Delta Ceramcoat’s “Pale Yellow” acrylic paint mixed with Craft Smart’s “Tangerine” acrylic paint.

IMG_4616IMG_4617IMG_4618IMG_4619

With a detail brush and a light green color paint some leaves towards the cuticle of the nails. I used Winstonia’s “Fine Line” brush and Craft Smart’s “Light Green” acrylic paint.

fullsizeoutput_7cafullsizeoutput_7cb

Add some details to these leaves with a very thin detail brush and a darker green color. I used Winstonia’s “Berry Wine” brush and Craft Smart’s “Crisp Green” acrylic paint.

fullsizeoutput_7cc

I went back in to add some more dimension to the quilted pattern. I simply added some more lines right bellow the previous ones with a more brown orange color. I used the berry wine brush again and Delta Ceramcoat’s “Pale Yellow” mixed with “Maple Sugar Tan” acrylic paint.

fullsizeoutput_7cd

Lastly, apply a top coat. I used Orly’s “Polisheild All-In-One Ultimate Top Coat.”
